Ditch performs at Intche festival in Oakland, CA
Ditch just returned from a busy weekend, first playing the main stage at Playground Festival in Irvine, CA then heading to Oakland to perform at the Intche festival. The International Cannabis and Hemp Expo was held for the first time this year in Oakland, California’s downtown after several successful years at the the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA. The festival was attended by thousands of people who came out to experience legalized medicating on the premises with cannabis, vendors, food, music and more. Ditch performed on the main stage of the event, which was located on the steps of the capital building of Oakland. Ditch’s set was not without controversy, as Ditch was notified a few days before his arrival that the Oakland Police Department had concerns about Ditch performing on the main stage, and attempted to halt his performance. Despite the controversy and attempted prior restraint, Ditch went onstage as planned and his music was not censored. Ditch then spent time mingling with some of the whom he plans to work with in the future. Ditch’s performance on this event was sponsored by Hydropot Grow Juice, Natures Diamonds, Smashtray and Treehouse of San Jose. Ditch will perform with Suga Free September 16th 2011 at Malones in Santa Ana, Ca and September 18th 2011 at House Of Blues in Hollywood, CA. Ditch to perform at Oakland California’s International Cannabis and Hemp Expo

Ditch, who just returned home to Southern California after a performance opening for Warren G and Flesh N Bone of Bone Thugs And Harmony at Sacramento Hempfest 2011, will head to Oakland, California to perform at the annual International Cannabis and Hemp Expo. The event attended each year by over 15,000 people has been moved from San Francisco to Oakland this year. It will also mark the first year that the event will be outdoors. The event will close down the streets surrounding the city capital building erecting a large stage and hundreds of vendor booths. Ditch will perform on day 2 of the event on the main stage. Ditch will spend the day before that opening for; The Game, Lil Jon, Too Short, New Boyz, Yg, Big Sean, E40, Panic At The Disco, The Bravery and more at the 2011 Playground Festival at Hidden Valley Ranch in Irvine, California. Ditch has long been a supporter of medicinal cannabis events, but insists he is far from a stoner rapper; “you will hear me make references to herb in my music and in my lyrics occasionally, but that is not my main focus with my music. My main focus with my music is to tell people my experiences in life which I have personally experienced. I always have to be careful when I choose which medicinal marijuana events to perform on and which ones not to. I make sure to mix mainstream festivals and shows with these medicinal marijuana shows to keep that balance… to keep that separation between my music and that of bands that are solely about the weed. Weed is something I do, I enjoy, but it is not my entire life. Well of course you have to add the expensive champagne with it…”. Ditch will perform new music at the event form his upcoming 2012 album “O2BNLA”. The event will have over 5 Blocks (1 Mile) of exhibition space plus Ogawa Park (Oakland City Hall). It will also feature a Patient Consumption Area and VIP Lounge with approved onsite consumption. For tickets please go to www.intcheevents.com . Ditch’s performance on this event is sponsored by Hydropot Grow Juice, Treehouse and Seo Marketing Team. Ditch’s official website is www.lethaltendermusic.com .
