Ditch, who just was added to the list of headliners for the 2011 Playground festival, just returned home from performing at the Sacramento Hempfest 2011. Ditch took the stage is his traditional all black attire rocking through such new songs as; “Get Em Up”, “The Party Never Stop” and some old Ditch cult favorites; “Stuntin In My Car”, “Burn and Burn” and “Give A Toast”. The crowd of several thousand people gathered for most of the 3 day long event, causing traffic jams and parking problems. At one point people had to walk several miles from their cars to the event. Ditch gave away a bunch of copies of the January 2011 release “Self Made, Self Paid” at the event along with some classic 2006 “Stay Faded” t shirts, a company Ditch used to co-own.. The independent rapper has previously performed at Eddy Lepp’s home before Eddy was sent to Federal prison to serve a ten year sentence for cultivating medicinal marijuana. Ditch also lent his song “Smoke It Up” featuring Eek-A-Mouse to the soundtrack for the upcoming Jack Herer Documentary “The Emperor Wears No Clothes” and has also performed on many medicial marijuana expos such as the Kush Expo in 2009 at the Anaheim convention center. The 3 day event took place on the Sacramento river in Sacramento, California and also featured performances by Mo Thugs, Flesh and Bone from Bone Thugs and Harmony, and Warren G.
