Treehouse Co-op has sponsored Ditch’s performance at the 2011 INTCHE festival. Treehouse is located in San Jose and offers a nice relaxing, comfortable atmosphere for proposition 215 patients to obtain their medicine in a safe environment. Ditch first linked up with the co-op at the 2010 Players Ball in Hollywood, CA. Ditch, who just returned home to Southern California after a performance opening for Warren G and Flesh N Bone of Bone Thugs And Harmony at Sacramento Hempfest 2011, will head to Oakland, California to perform at the annual International Cannabis and Hemp Expo. The event attended each year by over 15,000 people has been moved from San Francisco to Oakland this year. It will also mark the first year that the event will be outdoors. The event will close down the streets surrounding the city capital building erecting a large stage and hundreds of vendor booths. Ditch will perform on day 2 of the event on the main stage. Ditch will spend the day before that opening for; The Game, Lil Jon, Too Short, New Boyz, Yg, Big Sean, E40, Panic At The Disco, The Bravery and more at the 2011 Playground Festival at Hidden Valley Ranch in Irvine, California. Ditch has long been a supporter of medicinal cannabis events, but insists he is far from a stoner rapper; “you will hear me make references to herb in my music and in my lyrics occasionally, but that is not my main focus with my music. My main focus with my music is to tell people my experiences in life which I have personally experienced. I always have to be careful when I choose which medicinal marijuana events to perform on and which ones not to. I make sure to mix mainstream festivals and shows with these medicinal marijuana shows to keep that balance… to keep that separation between my music and that of bands that are solely about the weed. Weed is something I do, I enjoy, but it is not my entire life. Well of course you have to add the expensive champagne with it…”. Ditch will perform new music at the event form his upcoming 2012 album “O2BNLA”. The event will have over 5 Blocks (1 Mile) of exhibition space plus Ogawa Park (Oakland City Hall).
