Ditch ran a successful toy giveaway to the very young children and their mothers at the PATH Gramercy Housing Group last night in downtown Los Angeles, Ca (December 21st 2011). Ditch brought a large amount of toys and stuffed animals to the children, whom live with their mothers in the transitional living facility. Ditch also vowed to return in 2012 with more stuff for that center and other PATH shelters in Los Angeles and the surrounding cities. Kush Expo bans rapper Ditch
Kush Expo, an event known for allowing medicinal use of marijuana has banned rapper Ditch. The event organizers have sited no reason for banning Ditch, who was set to perform a surprise set at the expo this Saturday (November 19th 2011) at the Anaheim Convention Center. Ditch was set to perform with Dj Too High from DPG, when event organizers heard of the special guest, and banned him. Ditch performed at the Kush Expo in November 2010, with the band Mystic Roots. Ditch has since organized a boycott of the event, urging his fans not to attend the event and demand ticket refunds. Ditch has vowed now to urge all of his fans to boycott any future events put on by these event organizers. This is not the first time Ditch has come under controversy; in January 2010 a Ditch Supercross after party in Anaheim was cancelled by police and the upcoming Ditch performance at Hot Import Nights was almost cancelled when event security said they felt a need for increased security because of Ditch performing. Pepper spray, and an over capacity crowd doesn’t stop powerful Ditch performance in Santa Ana

Ditch opened for Suga Free once again last night (Friday September 16th 2011) at Malones in Santa Ana, California amidst madness of an overheated and over packed crowd. The club was filled to capacity at 10pm, hours before Ditch was to take the stage, leading to heavy drinking and upset people outside who were told the show was sold out. Just before Ditch was about to take the stage, a fight broke out in the crowd of about 800 plus people. A pepper (mase) bomb was sprayed inside of the club, causing people to panic and get outside air. Ditch’s bodyguard had advised him to step outside of the building so as to not be affected by the pepper spray, but Ditch insisted he wasn’t going anywhere until he performed as planned. At one point Ditch could feel the effects of the pepper spray, but that didn’t stop him from rushing to the stage opening his set with “Get Em Up”. Ditch tore through his other songs, before thanking the crowd. Suga Free then took to the stage performing his hits. Ditch just returned from a busy weekend, first playing the main stage at Playground Festival in Irvine, CA then heading to Oakland to perform at the Intche festival. The International Cannabis and Hemp Expo was held for the first time this year in Oakland, California’s downtown after several successful years at the the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA. The festival was attended by thousands of people who came out to experience legalized medicating on the premises with cannabis, vendors, food, music and more. Ditch performed on the main stage of the event, which was located on the steps of the capital building of Oakland. Ditch’s set was not without controversy, as Ditch was notified a few days before his arrival that the Oakland Police Department had concerns about Ditch performing on the main stage, and attempted to halt his performance. Despite the controversy and attempted prior restraint, Ditch went onstage as planned and his music was not censored. Ditch performed a powerful set and got the crowd moving in a no holds barred performance onstage at the 2011 Playground Festival in Irvine, Ca. Born Dejuan Rice (born January 17, 1970), Suga Free, is an American rapper from Pomona, California. He is considered a regional artist, whose fanbase primarily resides in Southern California, but his fanbase there is intensely loyal. Within his fanbase, he is well-known for his unorthodox flow - he can rap at incredible speeds with wild variations in meter - his highly syncopated and staccato delivery, and his unashamed self-presentation as an authentic and flamboyant street pimp. Suga Free was born in Oakland and raised in Compton, later becoming based in Pomona, California. Ditch, who just was added to the list of headliners for the 2011 Playground festival, just returned home from performing at the Sacramento Hempfest 2011. Ditch took the stage is his traditional all black attire rocking through such new songs as; “Get Em Up”, “The Party Never Stop” and some old Ditch cult favorites; “Stuntin In My Car”, “Burn and Burn” and “Give A Toast”. The crowd of several thousand people gathered for most of the 3 day long event, causing traffic jams and parking problems. At one point people had to walk several miles from their cars to the event. Ditch performs powerful set in El Paso, Texas with Ice T

Ditch has just returned home from El Paso, Texas where he opened for the legendary rapper Ice T. The event took place at the Red Parrot in which owner of 17 years Darrius was also honored. The event was the annual Players Toast Awards, which is now being re titled the Toast. A sandstorm mixed with lightning, and strong winds almost threatened to shut down the outdoor concert, but it quickly dissipated. Ditch hit the stage around 11:30pm with a flurry of new music, high energy and a new pimp glass covered in expensive bling. Ditch performed; “Get Em Up”, “Stuntin In My Car”, “Give A Toast” and “Burn and Burn” before giving us a taste of his new song “Moet And Diamond Rings” written for his girlfriend Shalon. Ditch announces he has recorded 5 songs for O2BNLA

Ditch set out to record his fourth full length album “O2BNLA” in fall of 2010, recording a few songs for the album that ended up on the January 2011 release “Self Made, Self Paid” (I Tunes). The other songs were scrapped and Ditch took almost 8 months off from recording to write and to experience some of the celebration of the fast lifestyle in order to come up with more quality and well produced material for his fourth official album. Ditch says: “I really wanted to make sure that what I release from this point on are only quality songs, with great hooks and melodies... they also need to be well produced for me to even release them. Public Intoxication was almost like; big budget, big ego, less focus. I really settled for some stuff on that album I'm not happy with and that had all those big celebrities like Shock G, Bishop Don Juan, Eek-A-Mouse and others on it. I'm working with Delekta Lujon in Compton, California. He at one time worked with Marvin Gaye, he doesn’t let anything come out of his studio that is not a hit… we have 5 new songs already pressed for the O2BNLA album… I'm very proud of this work”. Ditch announces 333 Sparklight production company

Ditch has added another notch to his entrepreneurial belt by launching his own independent media company 333 Sparklight. 333 Sparklight is Ditch’s newest venture, focusing on the artists he works with and the production of their internet commercials, viral videos and concert backdrop videos. Ditch’s company Lethal Tender Music, which just signed Florida rapper Big E, is adding this branch to tag onto each video done from this point forward featuring Ditch or any of Ditch’s Lethal Tender Music artists. Ditch did not go into more detail as of press time on how or if he will be marketing the company but did assure us that people will be seeing the name 333 Sparklight around a lot more. Rapper Ditch has just announced he has signed on 19 year old Florida Rapper Big E to Ditch’s Lethal Tender Music Company. In business and operated by Ditch since 2007, Lethal Tender Music was originally set up by Ditch and producer Bruce Fecteau as a way to manage the rights to Ditch’s celebrity filled album Public Intoxication. Ditch has announced he will hold his 8th annual Halloweed event October 15th 2011 at Coconuts in Dana Point, Ca. Ditch held the first Halloweed at Coconuts in 2003 before taking the annual festivities to other locations in its, so far, 8 year run. The 2011 Million Marijuana March avoids controversy in South Central

The 2011 Million Marijuana March Los Angeles has just wrapped up a strong 2 days of performances in the heart of South Central Los Angeles. The concert and march took place at Leimert Park in South Central Los Angeles. Ditch, who was in charge of booking the talent and bands, also headlined the 2 day festival. The event started with a few sound glitches which eventually led Ditch to get a new sound system for the event. Day 1 saw performances from Ditch, Rbx, Mac Lucci, Lyrical Vision,Elway the Gr8t, Dj Tone G, Kannabliss, Abcde, Kushhouse and more while Day 2 had Ditch, Badfish, Loose Nuts, Big E and 15 more bands. On the first day (may 7th 2011) Ditch performed a full set for the packed crowd which was followed by a special appearance by RBX who performed his hit from Dr Dre’s The Chronic “High Powered” and other songs. The second day had a few issues at one point the show was almost shut down because of foul language and indecency. Those problems eventually seized and the event continued to run smooth. Ditch presented Linda with Eddy Lepp’s freedom award from the event and at that moment Eddy Lepp actually called in from prison to speak to the Los Angeles crowd. Ditch closed out the event with the band Badfish to the crowds excitement. Ditch has added legendary Death Row Records rapper RBX to the 2011 Million Marijuana March list of performers. RBX joined Death Row Records in 1992 with his cousins Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger of The Dogg Pound , making commanding cameo's on Dr Dre’s The Chronic in 1992 and Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle in 1993. In 1996 RBX visited Dr. Dre at home and apologized for his harsh words on record and in magazines, and immediately signed to Dr Dre's new Aftermath label.
